Please Help Us Save Petunia's Leg

Meet Petunia, the fun and energetic 6 year old puppy who is always ready to give kisses and play fetch. She has always been active and so loving to everyone she meets. We love her unconditionally.

Unfortunately, our girl had a bad accident this afternoon. She was running home, as she normally does, and she had a horrible fall and had broken her front leg and sprained her back leg. We found her on the side of the road, being guarded by her big brother, Hector, bleeding and crying. We immediately called Springer Animal Hospital and got her in and taken care of for the time being. The veterinarian shared they believe her foot fell into a hole while she was running as fast as she can in the ditch, which caused the upper arm to break, bone through skin...and while trying to recover her fall, she sprained her back leg too. 

She is being referred to the Espanola Animal Hospital for a costly surgery that will allow her to keep her leg, otherwise our options are limited and will have to amputate. 


Due to a brand new home, newborn twins, maternity leave and husband's changing of jobs...we are stuck and scared for her. Being so young, we would rather Petunia have the opportunity to live her life with all of her legs, so we are reaching out to our family, friends, and others for assistance financially to help our girl.


If you can help at all, please know that it will give an energetic, loving, silly, fun, sweet dog to keep living life full-rip...the exact same way her personality portrays.

*also wanted to share that any donations that will not be used will be donated to the Espanola Animal Hospital for the intense and complicated surgeries they do for our amazing pets.
