Dear Family, Friends & Animal Lovers,
We find ourselves in a moment of desperation and hope, reaching out to our community for support in saving the life of our cherished family member, our beloved French Bulldog, Coco.
Coco has been having severe neck pain since December that we have been trying to manage with her veterinarian using different types of medication, acupuncture and strict rest. Unfortunately we have tried everything and she is not getting better she is sadly getting worse.
Her regular vet referred us to a neurologist. My husband Chris took her to the appointment and he was told she needs a surgery to remove calcium deposits that are between her C2 and C3 vertebrae. She has recently started having one leg buckle and is not able to put weight on it at times making it impossible for her to walk or use the restroom regularly. The vet said due to a fragment breaking off it is now infringing on her spinal cord. The surgery is complex where they actually go through the front of her neck to remove it. This surgery is not only complex but also comes with an exorbitant price tag that we simply cannot afford on our own.
With helping our daughter Taylor move to Denver after college and our son Dillon finishing up his last year of law school and Nathan being active in sports playing lacrosse for his Highschool along with our recent move to Tennessee (which has brought its own set of unexpected expenses), we've exhausted every resource available to us.
Coco's condition is deteriorating rapidly, and without this vital surgery, the vet fears we may lose her. It's heart-wrenching to see her in pain, knowing that her life hangs in the balance. She's more than just a pet; she is a loved member of our family, a source of comfort and companionship for us all, especially during these challenging times.
We're humbly asking for your support, no matter the amount (anything is so deeply appreciated), to help us cover the cost of Coco's life-saving surgery. Your generosity could make all the difference in ensuring that Coco can continue to be a part of our lives for years to come. Every dollar counts, and your kindness will not go unnoticed.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for considering our plea and for any contribution you can make towards saving our sweet Coco's life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Waters Family
