Please Help Us Save Our Diner After 40 Years of Service

To Our Dear Valued Friends,
We never imagined we would find ourselves in this position after 40 years of serving our community. The past few years have taken a tremendous toll on our diner, our savings, and our spirits. From the Great Recession to the pandemic, and now soaring inflation, we've faced challenges that have drained our resources and left us struggling to stay afloat.
When the pandemic hit, we were forced to close our doors for 18 long months, all the while trying to find quality help to continue providing the excellent service you, our cherished guests, deserve. The bills, however, didn’t stop. Without financial aid from the government, we quickly found ourselves dipping into our savings and retirement funds just to stay afloat.
In 2022, each time we thought we had found a replacement team, something would fall through, leading to more closures and, understandably, frustration for you, our loyal customers. We’ve been falling further and further behind on our bills, and the relentless rise in costs due to inflation has only added to our struggles. We’ve tried to keep costs down by serving only breakfast, but the stress of it all has taken a toll on our health, causing further closures.
It’s heartbreaking to say, but we’re now at a point where we have nowhere left to turn. We’re reaching out to you, our friends, and loyal customers, asking for your help to raise $23,000 to pay down our bills and regain some stability. If we can secure this capital, we’ll be able to manage our finances better and focus on what truly matters – serving you.
We owe you a sincere apology for the numerous occasions you’ve arrived at our diner, only to find it closed. We deeply regret the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. Please know that we have tried our best, but a series of unfortunate events – from short-staffing to health issues – have forced us into this situation. We’re asking for your understanding and generosity during this incredibly challenging time.
With nearly four decades of hard work and dedication, we have a hopeful heart and appreciation.
Thank you,
