Our babygirl has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and possible Cushing 's Syndrome and pancreatitis.
On Friday, June 26, we took her in for a consultation because she had lost a significant amount of weight. We find out with the results of her blood test that she tested positive for diabetes. She also has a bacterial infection. The vet also referred us to see a specialist for possible Cushing's syndrome and pancreatitis.
Today, Monday June 29, we took her to the vet to help regulate her diabetes. We were given medication , treatment recommendations, referrals, and food.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 6/30, we will find out if the insulin and the IV treatment has helped lower her glucose levels.
We have an upcoming appointment on July 9th with an internal medicine veterinarian at an Urgent Care Center. This upcoming appointment is estimated to cost us $1500+ due to ultrasounds, bloodwork, medication, treatment and possibly a surgery.
We have already spent a lot of our savings in the previous appointments so we are asking for help for the upcoming appointment, just so we can catch up on our finances in case further complications do occur.
We are asking our friends and family to help us save our Chica. She is our first dog and we love her oh so much. If you have ever met her, you know how cute and loving our babygirl is. We only want the best for her and unfortunately we are barred from being able to afford this due to my mom's unemployment and our own expenses.
We are committed to get her back to health and we need help, any type of help, honestly. If you can please share this, if you know of anything/anyone that can help us, please send them our way. and please please keep Chica in your prayers.
We honestly cannot do this without your help, Chica needs us.

El dia 26 de junio lleve mi perrita al doctor y le hicieron un examen y salio con diabetis y pancreatitis y tambien una bacteria en su orina. Es horrible saber esto de quien amas tanto y es todo en mi vida. Nesecito tu colaboracion, estamos en una situacion de tantan cosas pandemia, desempleo, estoy muy triste es fustrante todo, me moriria sin ella solo le pido a Dios que contodo esto seme mejore.
