After everything Dave has already fought through in her life, she is now facing another heartbreaking battle. We are desperately trying to raise funds for the treatment that could save our beautiful thirteen-year-old girl.

Dave isn’t just a pet — she is our baby, our companion, and one of the most loved members of our family. She now needs urgent treatment for a mastic tumour on her rear right leg, and we are doing everything we can to give her the chance she deserves to keep living the life she loves.

Dave’s life has never been easy, but she has always been incredibly strong. She was born with a deformed front left paw that turns outward, which has caused her joint pain throughout her life. Even with this challenge, she has always remained the happiest, most loving little soul.

When she was only three years old, Dave developed glaucoma in her left eye. For two years we tried everything we could to treat it, but the medication eventually stopped working. At just five years old, Dave had to have her eyes removed. Losing her sight was heartbreaking, but Dave showed us what true bravery looks like. She adapted to life without sight with so much courage and trust, learning to navigate the world using her other senses and the love around her.

Despite everything she has been through — the pain, the surgeries, and learning to live without sight — Dave has continued to be full of love, loyalty, and joy. She still enjoys her life, still finds comfort with her family, and still brings happiness to everyone around her.

Now she is facing another fight.

Although Dave is an old girl, she is still my baby, and I am not ready to say goodbye to her. After everything she has fought through in her life, she deserves the chance to keep going and to be comfortable and happy for as long as possible.
