Please help us save Karoline fight for her life

Hi, my name is Racquel Monique, I am Karoline's cousin but we treated each other as sisters. I am knocking into your good heart to help my sister with her medical bills in any amount you can give her since the medical bill increases as each day pass by.

She is in the Philippines with the rest of our siblings, their parents died when we were young. My mom the sister of their dad, was the one who took care of all of us.

In the Philippines, we have public health institutions but it will take us a long time to get proper help. If you do not have money or insurance there, it will be difficult to get medical help ASAP.

Karoline was 38 weeks pregnant and was rushed last Wednesday (July 19) at Sta. Rosa Medical Center because she had difficulty in breathing. She was then in critical condition 50/50 and the staff in the hospital needed to do an emergency Caesarian operation to take the baby out. She has type II Diabetes and has edema (manas) on her legs, arms and other parts of her body.

During her operation, she had more difficulties in breathing and her vital signs deteriorated causing her heart to stop beating. She was then revived and is on life support as of now. She is currently in the ICU and the doctors wanted her to have dialysis for her kidneys to function better. As of now, she is being monitored because she is still in a comatose state. As per her doctor, the comatose level she is in now is 4. The doctors said she has water in her lungs, a fast heartbeat of 142 bpm and very high creatinine levels which is 143. Her baby survived the operation.

Update:

My sister Karoline is still in the ICU. And her comatose state when down to level 3. She can barely open her eyes but her doctor says she is still unresponsive. She had a Tracheostomy procedure, just a while ago 9th of August at about 1 am (Philippines Time). She had to undergo that diagnostic procedure for her to be able to breathe properly. Because she has been bitting the tube of the ventilator causing her mouth to bleed. Unfortunately, the surgeon discovered that she has a goiter and she bled a little during the procedure. (A goiter is a lump or swelling at the front of the neck caused by a swollen thyroid) and the surgeon needed to touch that a little bit so he can perform the procedure.

We humbly ask all of you with good hearts to help us pray for Karoline. And we ask you for financial assistance as the current bill is increasing day by day. Sadly, we are already financially stressed and restrained. May The Good Lord Bless you and your families always for helping us.

Update

Karoline is now at home in San Pedro Laguna Philippines. We were ordered by the doctors to bring her home since they said they already did everything they could for her. The younger brother of Karoline was asked to signed a promissory note , because we do not have enough money to pay her hospital and doctors' bills. The bill is about 1M+, we need to pay each month for it. But we are still finacially challenged and stressed.

Karoline now is in persistent vegetative state, meaning she can open her eyes but still unresponsive to evrything. She is being fed through a feeding tube. And still using Oxygen to help her breath since she cannot breath on her own.

We are still knocking on your good hearts to help us financially. Any kind of help like prayers or any amount will help us big to sustain her needs and help us pay for medical expenses. Like diapers, medicines, oxygen, bed pads and for her food.
