Hi, my name is Karen, I was lucky enough to foster ET through Urban Kittens when he was just 5 weeks old. Our family fell so much in love with him that he became a foster fail and we cannot imagine our life without him.
This is ET's story:
Little ET had a tough start to life, wandering the streets alone. He was found when he was just 5 weeks old. Luckily he was rescued by Urban Kittens soon after. He was soon a foster fail and stayed with his loving foster family and three fur siblings. He thrived.
However, his luck was short lived.
ET developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) - a viral disease of cats that used to be 100% fatal.
Luckily, new treatments have become available. As the brave soldier that he is, ET did SUPER well on his first round of treatment on anti-viral medication. He was again a ball of bouncy kitten-ness again. His family were over the moon.
Sadly… he recently relapsed and it looks like he'll need another round of anti-viral treatment. FIP treatment as it is still new is very expensive (the vet has advised that this next round of treatment will cost approximately $10,000 for a 14 week round of treatment).
ET's adopted family need some help in funding this second round of treatment and would be super grateful for any donations to go towards the cost of his FIP treatment and medication.
