Please help us save Dexters Life

Our precious fur baby Dexter was hit by a car on the early hours on Friday 6th. He pulled himself home and through the cat flap up to our bed to tell us he needed us.
We rushed him to the emergency vet where we were told he had possibly fractured his pelvis and his tail was broken, his bladder was then drained and full of blood which was agonising for him.
We took him to the vets where we were told to say our goodbyes as he would likely need to be put to sleep during the x-ray. We were heart broken but gave him one last kiss and left him with heavy hearts.
To our amazement and pure joy, he came around and his pelvis wasn't broken but he has severe tail pull and had loss the sensation in his bladder and bowels. He was put on a catheter for 3 days and and left to rest. We visited him when we could and hoped him seeing us gave him the strength to pull through. They took his catheter out on Monday and didn't expect much. But he defied the odds again and began to pass stools by himself, but still not urinating. Today we had a call to say he still hadn't urinated and it was best to put him to sleep. But we are not giving up, we saw him today and he is walking around and come's to us for love. He look's into our eyes and tell's us to not give up and we are not.
We researched into specialist vets and found one close by, the vet has also recommended we refer him but this is going to be at a large cost to us but there is no price tag on what we would pay to save a life, but not just any life, Dexter's. So tonight he has had his catheter refitted and we are going to give him another 2 weeks to prove everyone wrong and fight for the life he deserves and see him celebrate his 3rd birthday in October. We also have other avenues to explore to get him there but we need help with costs, as you can imagine, we are struggling with the ever growing costs.
Please if you can spare anything to help us save Dexter we would be eternally grateful to you and so would he. He is worth every penny you spare. We will post regular updates on his progression.
