Please help us save Cloud

Hi, I’m Sarah.

Our sayang boy Cloud is now in ICU, and we’re absolutely heartbroken watching him fight so hard.

He’s been through so much in the hospital - blood tests, IV fluids, appetite stimulants, nausea medication, pain relief, X-rays, ultrasounds, and constant monitoring - still with no solid diagnosis.

He hasn’t eaten in days and has already lost over 1kg. He’s very weak and flat… but he still responds when we visit. He knows we’re there. He still finds the strength to lift his head to kiss us or open his eyes when he hears our voices. Responds to Mum’s voice especially - meowing back with what little energy he has.

The good news is that: Cloud’s bloods are finally starting to improve, and a feeding tube has been placed as supportive care… but it’s now been 5 days without him eating. We’re waiting, hoping, and holding onto every tiny sign of progress. The bad news is that: The vets have told us that if he doesn’t start recovering by the weekend, we may have to face letting him go as he will deteriorate further.

We’re doing everything we can to give him a chance, but the vet bills are rising quickly ! We’re looking just under $7,000, which is far beyond what we can manage right now. To be transparent, for those that don’t know my mum is still recovering from her stroke and a pacemaker surgery. And as most of my friends know I’m managing my own chronic illness, stage 4 endometriosis. The expenses are high when it comes to health :(
