Please help us save Alexandra’s life.

Hello everyone.

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my Aunt, Katerina Bekker. My Cousin Alexandra is 15 years old and she is going through hell with Cancer and treatment.

Alexandra is living with her mother in the Ukraine, unfortunately treatment for such things is very expensive and the pay people receive in the Ukraine is still extremely low. It is impossible for us to raise the money to pay for Alexandra’s treatment without asking the help of others. Please help us however you can!

On July 29, our world was turned upside down! My eldest daughter Alexandra was diagnosed with stage 4 osteosarcoma along with multiple metastases in her lungs. I am now with her around the clock in the pediatric oncology department of the Kharkiv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. We began to undergo chemotherapy, which is very difficult for Alexandra to tolerate. We have a very long course of treatment ahead of us. Unfortunately, the situation was aggravated by the incompetent actions of a doctor at the Chuguev Central Regional Hospital. We now face the threat of complete amputation of Alexandra’s leg due to infection, after a surgery to fix a ''broken leg'' that was not broken, it was a type of bone cancer that was incorrectly identified. A lot of valuable time and money was spent on useless and harmful "treatment" in the Chuguev hospital. Alexandra is only 15 years old, she is a bright, creative and strong girl who really wants to live! Please help save the life and health of our child

We have exhausted our funds on unnecessary treatment and now that their is action we can take in Kiev, the treatment is out of reach financially.

I am praying for a miracle to help my save my daughter. Today after a talk with the doctor, Alexandra said, “If they have to take my leg they can do it, I just want to live”. She is so strong, she is only 15.
