Please Help Us- Ricky's Only Wish

Hi my name is Susan & I am Ricky's wife. In December 2022, Ricky was diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer. He asked me to start a Go Fund Me Page in an effort to bring his last wish to reality.

We are trying to come to terms with the devastating prognosis Ricky has, we are focussing on making as many memories as possible as a family. Most people have a bucket list, but the list he once had is now just one wish. To take our son to Disneyland.

Over the last 3 years, Ricky has faced unsurmountable challenges with his health & he has fearlessly faced them head-on. Repeated surgeries, sepsis & nutrition issues, but to name a few.

We have a 7 year old son Ewen, who has Autism & limited speech. He is the sunshine in our lives, the most loving, kindest little dude. Ewen is very much a "Daddy's Boy". The aim is to spend what time Ricky has left in the best way possible. A holiday to Disneyland would be a lifelong memory for Ewen with his Daddy. This was a tradition started by Ewen's late grandfather, which sadly stopped, due to his passing away 10 years ago. Help us to realise this dream.

Faced with the heartbreaking certainty that we won't grow old together, we are prioritising making memories for a lifetime in a short timeframe. Please help us to reach this goal. If we were to surpass our goal, then any extra funds would go towards funeral expenses, bills etc.
