Donations for my dad’s funeral

Hi, my name is Mihwa Kim Turonis and I am fundraising for my dad Young-Keun Kim. Just just pass today. He had battled stage 4 gallbladder cancer since last November. He is the most hard working man I know, and would do anything to feed his family and educate his children. He is a fighter who hasn’t lose his sprint and passion for life till the end. He was just rushed to the ER yesterday on my birthday, worst birthday ever. The ER doctor was shocked he was still so with it because his organs were shutting down. He has so much love for everyone in his own prickly way. He missed being in his own home, he was hopeful for his life even at the end of his life. He missed his grandchildren. It’s very difficult time for my family since I am here in the us, they are in Korea.

My father has been out of work since he suffered a stroke last year. My mom had to leave her job just couple of years before her retirement to be my fathers full time caretakers and help with with his cancer treatments. It’s extra hard for my family since they have no steady income, mounting medical bills and the costs for funeral or memorial services are very high. I feel very helpless and stuck being on the other side if the world from my family, can’t be there for him. It really is devastating feeling that I am literally on the other side of world I am currently booking last minute tickets to hope and be by his side in time.
