After receiving multiple alerts from our home safety system, we discovered that our neighbor's massive Rottweiler had broken through our glass front door and attacked our pet miniature Australian Shepherd, Zelda. We felt helpless as we were 30 minutes away when we noticed the animal in our home. The dog was in our home for over 35 minutes, and we did not know if our pet was alive. Turns out this Rottweiler has escaped multiple times, and the current owner has failed to control their pet.

We are now facing multiple bills, including a large vet bill, a replacement of our new floor rug that was covered in blood and feces, as well as a replacement door.

We are now seeking help from the community, as we live in fear every day. We are extremely grateful that our two toddlers, who play in that living room every day, are safe and weren't home when this incident occurred.
