It is with great sadness that we announce the sad passing of our dear brother, father, Uncle, Mr Tawana Dube. Who sadly passed away in Leeds hospital on the 13th of February 2021 at 09:00, where he has been admitted since last year August.
His journey in life was not an easy one.
He came to the United Kingdom in 2012 in search of a better life, as we know the challenges that people encounter here, for 10 years he was unable to see or visit his family or able to work due to his status.
Although he did not have gold and silver to offer people, his golden heart, his smile, and loving heart touched a lot of people. He was not able to work and make money like others but he was always ready to work for God, as a preacher, helper volunteer and making sure he helps the old and vulnerable.
He was a very friendly and peace loving, God fearing man who enjoyed the company of his church colleagues and community members.
Mr Tawana is survived by his wife and 7 children 4 boys and 3 girls who are all back home.
We are appealing to the community at large to help fund his repatriation as it was his last wish to be buried back home in Zimbabwe, Bulawayo.
This will help give his family and children closure and the opportunity to say their final goodbyes. We hope and trust that God will touch your hearts and help fulfill his last wishes.
