Storm Darragh raged on Red River this weekend and took down one enormous tree. The damage caused to our Kindergarten has been devastating.
This building is more than a building to us. It’s our tiny children’s safe place; their home from home, a place where love and care are in abundance; where we nurture and honour childhood in the most precious way. It’s a place where magic happens, where community gathers, where nature is honoured, where we tell stories, sing and play and paint and bake and make and grow together.
To see it crushed is quite literally crushing.
Our community works hard on the land to maintain its beauty through all seasons and together we show our children the kindness of humankind.
Red River is a tiny independent Waldorf inspired Centre in Cornwall that’s built itself from the roots up with people for people. We have children from aged 3-16 years.
It will take us £10,000 to rebuild our beautiful Kindergarten, please can you help us?
