Hi my name is Marcia, I am the Church clerk / Treasurer, for a very small  congregation in the Pittsburgh area, we are trying to purchase a building  where we can have a  space to worship and a good space to accommodate our food distribution outreach and clothing distribution outreach, with adequate  storage for both programs. The building we had rented for 5 years was sold and the space we were expecting to rent became unavailable. We found a small space to rent, and after cleaning it, it looked pretty good, however, we have been there for nine months now. and although we are able to worship there comfortably enough, our outreach programs have suffered.  The most pressing, our food program is limited to us getting a carload of food and physically delivering them to a few families, while many others are waiting, and we are unable to provide them with food due to the lack of space and inability to store food.  Had we the space we would not have to physically pick up or deliver the food. It would be delivered to us, and the community would be able to come in and choose the things that they needed. The program is waiting to provide us with the food, the refrigerators to store the food  and bins for trash and recycle disposal. 

 Our clothing ministry, since moving, has been limited to a case by case and emergency basis, as there is no room for storage.  Our storage now consist of plastic bins  stored in hallways, and in the homes of members. Meetings, or seminars has to be held 

In the sanctuary area.

Please help us to purchase a building so we can continue being of service to our community.
