Our boys were attacked on Friday July 30th 2021. Our neighbor coerced our 1 year old pit Blaze over and stabbed him twice in the side in which case Marley (age 9) heard what happened and drug his 10 lb chain as well as his 35 pound brick to defend his brother. They’re claiming the boys attacked their dog, but their dog has no bite wounds and this man sliced his own dogs neck twice either on accident or on purpose, we don’t know. This man stabbed Marley 11 times. We didn’t know if they’d survive, but they’re thankfully still here to tell their story. Our neighbor hates pit bulls, we have reason to believe he’s been poisoning them as well as other dogs in the neighborhood since they keep getting sick randomly and our other neighbor found rotten meatballs behind his shed. The emergency vet we took the boys to said the wounds showed the boys were trying to get away from the situation but were held there while they were repeatedly stabbed. The vet also said it’s near impossible to stab a dog due to the amount of muscle they have, let alone stab a dog that’s fighting. I watched this man stab Marley in the neck after the altercation was finished and if I hadn’t gotten to him right away that man would have killed him. Even after all of that cruelty, no person was bitten. We can’t afford the vet bill, as well as the citations issued, on top of our bills. We are wanting to press charges against this psychopath so he can’t hurt anyone ever again. Blaze is healing well, but Marley isn’t doing well. His wounds are still gaping open and we might have to take him back to the vet for further assistance. It is our goal to sell this trailer since we no longer feel safe (we have caught this man staring at our trailer for long periods of time since this happened), and buy a home with property and a fenced in yard so the boys and kids can run freely.
