Hi my name is Julie and on the 7th December during the really bad storm this tree which has stood for about 60yrs plus. During the storm couple of the top branches broke and fell down taken out a really lge branch and half the core of the tree as you can see from the photo. Because of this a tree surgeon has said for safety the rest of the tree has to come down. I am a disabled person whom has just finished her second lot of breast cancer and treatment and husband who is my full time carer doesn't now I'm doing this as does not like asking for charity. But I am worried sick on how we are going to pay for it, as the house insurance doesn't cover it because it hasn't caused any damage to the house or garden so far.

I'm shore a lot of people in the Helston area know which tree this is as it can or could be seen from miles away. Some people even told me when they can't sleep they look out there window and watch this tree moving in the wind. Please if you could help me pay some of this money i would be extremely grateful.
