Please help us pay for the funeral Mike deserves

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am Milorad (Mike) Dimitrovski’s daughter in law. He truly was one of my favorite people, so I’m coming to you today simply to ask for your help.
If you knew Mike, you know he did not live an easy life. Mike worked himself to the bone as an over-the-road truck driver to provide for his family and make sure they never wanted for anything. He would give the shirt off his back and the last $5 in his wallet to anyone who needed it.
Unfortunately, in 2005 his Aorta ruptured and required a major open heart surgery. Because of this, he was in rehab for 4 months and out of work for at least 6 more months after that, causing quite a bit of a financial burden on the family.
Then again, in 2007 doctors found multiple aneurysms in arteries leading to his brain and his lungs and performed another major surgery requiring him to be out of work another 6 months. He eventually recovered and went back to work to try to pay for all of his extensive medical bills.
In 2011, doctors found more aneurysms between his lungs and his leg. They went in again for yet another extensive surgery and due to medical complications, they caused him to have a spinal stroke which left him paralyzed from the waist down. The doctors gave him a bleak prognosis of about 5 years, but Mike was a fighter.
Mike spent the next 7 years and every dime he had trying to plead his case and get justice for his failed surgery, but ultimately the doctors had better lawyers and he lost his case. Because of this, he lost everything, including his home.
His 4 sons, Aleksandar, Zoran, Milan, and Petar came together to help him with everything they could, from moving him in with them, to helping with bills, medications, wounds from being bedridden, etc. and he was so grateful to them but always felt like a terrible burden.
Shortly after he lost his home, he developed COPD and that, combined with his circumstances due to his paralysis, is ultimately what led to his death this week, on March 8, 2022.
I’m coming to you asking for your help to give Mike the service and funeral that he so very much deserved. He died with less than a penny to his name, no life insurance, no financial help of any kind, and his sons have poured so much time and money into these last years that the last thing they need to worry about while grieving their father is how to come up with the money to pay for this. Everything totaled up will be over $15,000 so I’m just asking if you have any amount to give, even $5, I know I’m grateful and I know Aleks, Zoran, Mikey, and Petar would be forever grateful, and if not, I totally understand, and if you could just send positive thoughts and prayers to all of us during this time, we would all really appreciate it.
All money donated will go towards funeral costs and anything extra will be used towards any debts left to his sons after his death.
As soon as services have been arranged, I will post them here. Thank you so much for everything!
