Hi friends, as many of you know, my fiancé and I have been struggling financially for while now. Between mental and physical health issues, I haven’t been able to work in over two years. Thankfully, I was accepted for SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance aka Disability) and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program aka Food Stamps) late 2022. It helps, but it’s simply not enough… 

Marc (my fiancé) was fortunate to get a job in the summer of 2023.

To be clear, I am super uncomfortable asking people to donate so we can afford basic living expenses, but we’ve ran out of options. For full transparency, these are the expenses you will be helping with: rent $742, phone $87, utilities $75-$150, insurance $127, groceries ~$100, miscellaneous ~$100 not including gas. 

Just as a bonus, I also have about 90k in student loan debt from my 8 years in college.
