In this moment of great need, I, a single mother of two, share with you the profound challenges my family is facing. On February 2, 2021, my 13-year-old son, Lamar, exhibited COVID symptoms, leading us to the hospital where we received heart-wrenching news—Lamar was in congestive heart failure. His condition took a severe turn, and he valiantly fought for his life on life support. During this unimaginable time, my world was further shattered on November 3, 2021, as the love of my life succumbed to an overdose on pain medication.

While I felt my own world collapsing, I had to find the strength to bury my love and be there for Lamar, who couldn't attend the services. Now, three years later, by the Grace of God, we received the incredible news of a living donor located in Texas. To undergo this life-saving transplant, Lamar needs to relocate to Texas and embrace the gift of a new heart.

I humbly appeal to your kindness and generosity during this challenging period. The weight of medical bills has become overwhelming, and I am struggling to cover the expenses of this crucial relocation. Your support would truly make a significant difference in easing this financial burden.
