Please help us lay Jay to rest

Hi. My name's Nikki and I'm desperately trying to raise money to pay my little brother to rest! Jay died unexpectedly at home on May 23rd, after suffering 2 severe, back-to-back seizures. We still have many unanswered questions as to why he had these random seizures. He was in decent health and at only 30 years old, this was so unexpected. Jay leaves behind a daughter & 2 bonus kids who are all very heartbroken . Jay was two years younger than me . Our mother, who is disabled, lives at a nursing home in westbrook. And our father works in construction but can only work part time for the time being due to a knee surgery he just had a month ago. We don't have much for money and we were certainly not expecting such a tragedy. My mother is just recovering from covid but after her quarantine is over (Thursday, I believe) I will get her up here so that as a family we can start planning a funeral for my brother. My grandmother's funeral ended up costing $2600. We paid around $1000 for her cremation and I had bought an urn for $275. So I'm praying to be able to get some help. I calculated $4275, that's with $400 to pay for food, transportation and any other expenses that I'm sure will pop up over this next week. I'm not one to beg or borrow and I hate to have to ask for help but my brother deserves to be laid to rest properly. Is like to give a nice were that his children and my parents, and my children can all remember Jay by. We are a very close family and this has shattered us. My mother, being quarantined two hours away.. I don't want to have to spend these coming, hard days worried about how to pay to have my brothers service. Death is sometimes very unexpected and we weren't prepared to have to do this this soon. Today has been the worst day of my life, having to say goodbye to my little brother just doesn't seem fair. I appreciate all of our friends and our family, we all do. Please, if we can all pitch in even a few dollars, any little bit will help even if we can't reach out goal. I know that times are real tough right now. If you can't help by donating, you could help us just by sharing this link. Once I have everything figured out, well be letting everybody know when and where were holding his service. You can all come out and celebrate jays life with us. He would love that. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. Take care. RIP jay, I miss you already little brother
