Please help us keep our rescued deer Betty White

Betty White was picked up in the bush , sitting by herself at a few days old , she was raised for the first couple of weeks by GG Wildlife Rescue, then offered her to the Greenough Wildlife Park as they had kept deer before and had a suitable enclosure and offered to give her a forever home as she would of been euthanised as she is considered a pest animal in Australia.

Raised from a young age she knows no better than the wonderful home she now lives in and the humans she loves and visitors she gets to meet .

Unfortunatly now after 3 years 1 of our government departments has changed the field goals in terms of the enclosure requirements and we have to build a new enclosure to all their specifications otherwise we have to get rid of Betty White which means either find her a new home with the new requirements or she will have to be put down :(

Now Betty White is not any normal wild or breeding farm deer she is a loved member of our family and is perfect for children and adults of all ages to get up close with as she is cuddly and people freindly and in the 3 years never tried to escape from her home here but unfortunately that doesnt matter as she HAS to have an approved enclosure and no exemptions.

We are looking for donations of any amount so we can acheive the goal of keeping Betty White as the other option is not happening.

We have several local businesses who are donating their labour and machinery to help so now we just need to raise $8154.90 for materials.

Please help out where you can as every little bit will help us achieve this goal

We will be holding a fundraiser day event at the Wildlife Park on Wednesday the 29th from 9am to 1pm to also help raise funds for this project so if you know of anyone local to the mid west let them know - We are partnering with GG Wildlife Rescue to make this an awesome day with the animals and if we do achieve more than we need for this we will be donating any excess funds to GG Wildlife Rescue to help all the animals in need in our area .
