Hello to anyone kind enough to read about our fundraiser.

My name is Laura, and I'm reaching out in one of the hardest times of our lives. My husband (Joe) and I are about to lose our home and on top of it our car just died. Joe has been out of work due to his health. Throughout 2024, Joe’s health was declining.  He suffered a, near life-ending, medical episode that has taken almost everything from us.

At 6’4”, he dropped down to a terrifying 105 lbs. The hospital stay, treatments, and recovery have been time consuming and overwhelming. Medical bills, lost income, and the sheer physical toll have left us in a desperate situation. We’re currently about to lose our house and we are without reliable transportation.

We desperately need help to get back on our feet. We have attempted to handle the issue ourselves, but that has been unsuccessful.

This fundraiser is our lifeline to get out from a deep hole due to uncontrolable events. We have paid for this home for 25 years and now the Bank is about to take it. Help us keep our home!

The good news is Joe is near healthy again. He’s still going through treatments, and will be for the foreseeable future.
