Foreclosed! Help Kelly During This Critical Time

Hello, my name is Carly and I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Kelly D. whose home has just been foreclosed on April 1st, 2023. We had originally created the fundraiser to help stop the foreclosure from happening, however, our goal was not met.

We have since decided to keep the fundraiser going for the reasons stated below.

There's simply no words that could define what Kelly's friendship means to me, and I know scores of people who can say the same. The impact this woman has had on the lives of many is profound- for some, it was vital.

Now- Kelly needs OUR help! Her home has just been foreclosed, April 1st, 2023.

Kelly purchased her home 21 years ago with her now ex.

I cannot explain the true nature of her ex's actions without vulgar language, so I will sum it up in a more tasteful manner. While Kelly dealt with worsening, life-threatening medical conditions, he intentionally over medicated her to get her signature in order to take out a second mortgage on the house. He then lost his career after having sexual intercourse with subordinates in the workplace. In short order, he found illegal access to Kelly's inheritance monies, which was swiftly spent on gambling, prostitution, alcohol and drugs. He then moved out of the house without forwarning to be with a mistress. He's been MIA ever since. He left Kelly with the responsibility of handling the mortgage, her progressing medical issues, all the debt he left her with and living expenses for herself and their son.

She wanted to sell the home to avoid the impact on her credit, but he refused to cooperate, and because he is also named on the deed, she could not proceed.

Kelly will soon be left without a home while trying to continue managing her ongoing and serious health conditions. Due to said conditions, she is unable to continue in her profession for the foreseeable future.

All monies donated will be utilized for moving expenses, obtaining living accommodations, medical bills, and any other outstanding bills and vital living essentials.

Kellys not one to reach out and ask for help. She's usually the one offering an extended hand to those in need, so this is a new position she's finding herself in. Any help would be an enormous relief for her.
