Please Help us keep Daniel Lizama alive

My name is Chris Owens. I am trying to raise funds for a life-saving situation that a family member is in. He has been on a ventilator for some time now (details in the story). He is on his deathbed, and we need help. Thank you for any assistance.

Meet Daniel Lizama -
Daniel is a very talented man and artist. Daniel has combined his love for music and animation into his studio. Daniel plays several musical instruments and has created animated characters he hopes to one day share with the world. He recently organized his studio and was ready to do some great recording. Suddenly, Daniel was stricken with a suffocating sensation, quickly making it hard to breathe. Daniel was rushed to the hospital, where his condition drastically deteriorated. The Doctor indicated that he has a respiratory virus. Within hours after learning about his respiratory virus, he went from a serious condition to critical. Daniels' respiratory condition has worsened to bacterial pneumonia. The bacteria aggressively invaded his bloodstream. Family members were contacted and asked the dreadful question that nobody wants to get asked. To authorize the end-of-life process. He had/has so many hopes and dreams. We could not bring ourselves to do that to poor Daniel. We proceeded with the life-saving care he needed. We placed him on a ventilator in Intensive Care. Little progress was made. Some glimmer of hope would come and then go.
One very good nurse worked with us that loved him. We gradually reduced the oxygen supplied by the ventilator. Next, the compression or force had to be reduced to close to the air we breathe. It happened yesterday. Plans were in place, however, to have him taken to the procedure room to have a tracheostomy and breathe through his neck. The nurse and family conferred and decided to have the ventilator turned off and disconnected yesterday. This worked. He does not qualify for a tracheostomy since he can breathe on his own. His survival is now possible.
There will be a lot of rehabs for Daniel. His little cartoon characters are on his monitors, but is motionless. They will never move again without Daniel. One can sing a beautiful song, but it may never be heard.
Daniel has a medical plan but will not cover his massive expenses along with extensive
Rehabilitation: He needs help desperately with all of the necessary medical care. I know his heart and can assure everyone that he will be eternally grateful and will want to pay forward to help others.

Insight into what is going on;
Today I saw the financial Department at Legacy Medical Center. Every time anything is done for a patient, they scan the wrist badge and a cost is added to the account. Today I was told that their total thus far for the 15 days of ICU "Intensive Care Unit" is $423,277.38.
The good news is that he is improving after being near death with sepsis. He has been downgraded to the next level of care\ which would be less cost per day since less medical attention is needed. He must have considerable Physiotherapy with all forms of mobilization. He would need to learn how to care for himself independently and be safe while doing so. This would include being safe in the community around moving vehicles and intersections.
He would have to learn to be independent at home and be able to navigate up and down stairs. Considerable practice would be needed for each step of the way to help him do what he loved most - Music and Animation. He may need some form of assisted living initially to accomplish this. He is a very resilient and ambitious man, and I think he can do it with God's help.
I am told that it would at least take one month of rehab to recover from 10 days of immobility.. Since he has already been in bed 15 days, it appears he would need nearly 2 months of various forms of rehab. It is hoped that it would be at a lower rate than ICU, however, therapy would need to be intense and that could also be costly.
I am asking everyone to pray for Daniel.

At this moment, Daniel is only able to move his head from left to right, he can open his eyes, but he can't communicate at this time in any form aside from shaking his head and violently I might add. Aside from that he cannot do much at all. We ask for your love and prayers at this time if you're willing to take a moment out of your day, we are so grateful.

**We just had to have yet another MRI done June 30, so the costs continue to rise, sadly. We are looking for ANY help to save this mans life, as he is on deaths doorstep unless we can come together and help this gentleman come back to life. The miracles that we as loving humans can product is nothing shy of Amazing! We kindly ask for your support and any assistance is Greatly, Greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time and attn. to this concerning matter.
-Stay safe out there and stay blessed!
