Please Help us help Paul on his Road to Recovery

Hi my siblings and I are fundraising on behalf of our dad Paul Young.

Anyone who knows our dad knows he hasn’t had it the easiest especially in the last few years! But those that know him also know how proud he his and that he would never want to ask for help. So for that reason we have have done this on his behalf. He needs to focus all of his energy on getting better and to help him do that we are hoping to slightly relieve one of the biggest stresses he has right now.

He is currently in hospital, originally going in with influenza and phnemonia resulting in him being on life support for a week and a half and recovering from a heart attack. He has recently come off life support and out of ICU but is fighting 2 life threatening infections. Along with all of this he is severely immunocompromised. This means his body his struggling to fight those infections and that his road to recovery is extremely long. The compromised immunse system has been caused by the concoction of medications he has had to take over the years to keep him and his transplanted kidney somewhat healthy. These medications have also caused skin cancers and blood clots resulting in the amputation of his leg.

He currently has no source of income and due to his long road of rehab and recovery ahead he is unsure of when or if that will change. With all of that in mind he is struggling with the thought of how he will make ends meet.

Please help us take away a little bit of that stress away so he can fully focus on trying to fight and get better. Any amount is greatly appreciated, even the smallest amount could make the biggest difference.
