Please Help Us Help Our Dad, Eduardo “Dado”, A Selfless Father, In His Final Battle

Our hearts are heavy as we reach out for help for our beloved father, Eduardo Ignacio, a man who dedicated his life to helping others, and who is now, at 77 years old, fighting for his every last breath. Our father is in the late stages of Parkinson's disease, and after years of battling this relentless illness, his body is giving out. He's currently in the Intensive Care Unit, and his medical bills are piling up at an overwhelming rate.

For those who knew Eduardo in his younger years, you'll remember a man who embodied selflessness. He was the first to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or whatever resources he had to anyone who came to him in need. Whether it was a friend facing hard times, an unknown looking for work in his field of seafaring, or a relative seeking financial help, Dad was always there, no questions asked. He gave tirelessly, often putting others' needs before ours or his own, never expecting anything in return.

Years ago, our daddy and our dear mother, Amelia, made the difficult decision to move to the Philippines. They hoped their modest retirement savings would stretch further there, providing them with a more comfortable life due to the lower cost of living. However, Parkinson's disease has been a cruel thief, slowly robbing Daddy of his mobility, his independence, and now, his financial security.

He's been in and out of hospitals for countless treatments and emergencies, and what little savings he and our Mommy had have been completely depleted. As his four children, we have done everything in our power to contribute to his mounting medical expenses. We've already exhausted our own savings and stretched our resources to their absolute limit, but the costs are simply too enormous for us to bear alone.

Now, as Dad faces his final days, we are desperate to ensure he receives the best possible care and that Mom isn't left with an insurmountable debt in her grief. We want to ease their burden and give our father the peaceful and dignified passing he deserves, free from the crushing weight of medical bills.

Every dollar, every share, every prayer will make a difference. Please help us honor a man who gave so much to so many. Let's show Eduardo the same generosity and compassion he always extended to others.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time.

With immense gratitude,

The Ignacios
