Please help us help Lois Taylor ♡

Hi, my name is Brandy, Lois is my Aunt. My cousin, Crystal, who is Aunt Lois' daughter asked me if I could help her create a gofundme to help with the many medical expenses and such that Aunt Lois currently has and will continue to accumulate. Lois (Filuis) Taylor is the wife of Rob Taylor, daughter of the late Rosemary & Louis Filuis of South Wheeling and the step-daughter of Jim Taskaline. She is the 6th girl in a family of 10 children (8 girls, 2 boys) with 3 additional step siblings. Anyone who knows the Filuis clan has most likely crossed paths with Lois. She has resided in South Wheeling almost her entire life. Whether you remember her as "one of the Filuis sisters", the local beautician in the 80s, a beloved childcare worker in the 90s, or even from the old Southside Hardware, she is most definitely a friendly face to all who meet her. Kind, generous, always ready to help in anyway she can, heart of gold.. to, not only her family & friends but, everyone she meets. Lois was recently diagnosed with 2 types of cancer.. lung, which we have yet to find out anything about and cancer in her jaw. After a recent lung biopsy she had a major complication where she ended up in the ICU on a ventilator and was medically put to sleep so her body could heal. Thankfully she is on the mend from that scare but she has a very long road ahead of her. She will require several surgeries, starting with one in Cleveland this week which will include reconstruction of her jaw. Then there will be radiation and whatever else that may come up along Lois' road to recovery. And this is with us still not knowing anything in regards to her lungs. Between her co-pays, all the missed work, not to mention traveling and all the future expenses still to come, Crystal would like to start trying to raise some money to help defray some of these costs and to help alleviate some of her parents expenses.
