Two weeks ago Charlie was happy and healthy. Now he is fighting for his life. He has been diagnosed with IMHA - Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. It’s an autoimmune disease.

His immune system, which typically fights off infections, is now attacking his own red blood cells. He has needed several blood transfusions and is on immunosuppressants. Hopefully, the immunosuppressants and a few more transfusions will do the trick and save his life.

Charlie is only 4 years old. He is our Toby 2’s and family’s baby. He is the best boy! And he has a baby to love that is due in March 2022.

Tomorrow marks one full week that he has been hospitalized, and I am asking for help. Please consider donating to his vet/hospital bills and pray that the immunosuppressants and transfusions work.
