Please Help us Give Nicole Czerwinski a Proper Farewell

Hello, our names are Erin Jorgensen and Leah Kowalski writing this for Nicole Marie Czerwinski.  

She was truly an amazing person, mom, and an amazing sibling and daughter, all of the above! She had such a beautiful heart and was she was taken away from us way too soon, so tragically and so very unexpectedly. Nicole went to the hospital the night of March 27th. We got a call on March 28th from the hospital, and they expressed that she didn’t have much longer to live. They couldn’t really get what they needed from her to know how to help, so they were just keeping her comfortable. The doctors put her in an induced coma and on a ventilator as soon as she got there because she couldn’t breathe on her own due to a tumor blocking her entire left lung and very high levels of CO2 in her blood. We were told that she had very aggressive stage 4 lung cancer, pneumonia, a bad infection in her bloodstream, and other very serious conditions.

Nicole didn’t want us to worry, so no one knew how bad it truly was. When they tried to wake her up so they could give her options, like a tracheostomy, she wouldn’t wake up or give any neurological response. Any other person would’ve woken up. With the condition and pain she was in, we had to make the decision to either let her go or try absolutely everything just to have her in pain and never have the same quality of life again. It was the hardest decision we’ve ever made, but we couldn’t let her suffer. At 9:02 pm on 04/08/25, they took her ventilator out, and at 9:10 pm, she peacefully passed. Nicole was only 41. She did not deserve to go this early and so tragically 

This is all very hard on our family. We wish we had the resources and money to give her the proper burial and funeral that she deserves, but unfortunately, it’s not something we can afford. Anything that you can donate or even sharing this around means the world to all of our family and most importantly means the world to Nicole.
