During our stay in Thailand we have fallen in love with this gorgeous boy, Baiden. We met him on a tiny island and the whole time we were there he never left our sides. He would sleep on the balcony and greet us first thing in the morning, then head down to breakfast with us and wait patiently outside until we had finished and snuck him a couple of sausages! He would then spend the day with us at the beach and look after our things while we were swimming, often swimming into the sea to be with us. He would then wait for us to get ready for dinner and again wait patiently outside until we had finished. We would then spend the rest of the evening together on the balcony or at the beach until bed time ready to do it all again the next day! It really broke our hearts to leave him behind at the end of our stay and ended up extending our holiday so we could go back and see him. When we got back to the island and he saw us he ran straight up to us, tail wagging and seemed just as happy to see us as we were to see him. We knew we couldn't leave him behind again so made the decision to do our absolute best to bring him home to the UK with us. We spoke to some of the local people and found out he used to have an owner who was from Myanmar, and that his name is Baiden - his owner had to return home due to the war and couldn't take Baiden with him. Unfortunately his owner was killed, while fighting in the war so Baiden was left a stray. The local people were very happy when we said we'd like to take him home with us. We spoke to a few animal places and they all said that it will cost around £2500 to bring him back to the uk. He also has heartworm which can be treated but will cost an additional £250-£500. We are desperate to bring him home but just don't have the funds at the moment so any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
Even if you are not in the position to donate, please can you share this as much as possible so we can try and make this happen. x
