I’m sharing this from a vulnerable place, and feeling shame in having to do this.

Dean and I are in great need of financial support in order to get out of rent arrears. For the first time ever, I wasn’t able to fully pay rent. Half of February’s was paid, but we haven’t been able to pay for March. So far we haven’t been threatened with eviction, but I’m not sure how long we’ll have a grace-period.

We are both consistently and actively looking for work, but other than odd jobs for myself, we don’t have any longterm options yet.

I have gone since October without significant work, and was already struggling to make ends meet. We’re now in a desperate situation that I don’t see a way out of at the moment.
