Hello, I’m a minor still in school who’s moved to a new place a few months ago. My family adopted three cats, but unexpected events happened causing intense financial strain on my family. I have not been able to raise funds on my own due to financial situations and inability to get a job (after applying to several) so I’ve come here in hopes of support. Me and my family’s situation is discouraging, its caused much turmoil, but its better than the life we had before, riddled by emotional and domestic abuse for all of us. We luckily have escaped the situation, and admittedly we had always dreamed of having animals. As a gift for our personal victories and milestones over these rocky months we adopted three beautiful kittens. At the time of writing this they are not even 1 year old, but in the little time we’ve had them they’’ve helped us so much. Sadly, my three cats have had fleas multiple times and at least two of them seem to have tapeworms (or some kind of worms, we noticed rice grain like worms from their anus and the base of their tail leading to our diagnosis). They also need to be neutered and spayed for their health and to avoid the inevitable possibility of kittens. We sadly couldn’t earlier because they weren’t of age or weight. I need help; I cannot get money like I thought, and I’m scared for them. My family has gone through a lot as of late; these cats have uplifted us in many ways mentally and emotionally. We love them to pieces. Knowing they're suffering but still managing to be affectionate and active with us and one another makes it bittersweet. They deserve treatment as we get back on our feet. I appreciate any support given. Things will get better over time, but we need a boost. They deserve to be dewormed, they deserve to be spayed, they deserve to live in good health, and as much as our lives have improved theirs should too. They are wonderful cats, lights of our lives.
