Please help us get Ocha her double knee surgery.

Hi,

Our names are Jason and Allison, and our sweet puppy Ocha (one-year-old Akita) tore both of her CCL ligaments running on wet sand at the beach. She needs double Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) Surgery. Estimates for the surgery range from $8,000-$12,000. She is a really sweet pup and the best thing that has happened to us in quite a while. While her spirits are up and acclimate to her injury, she is completely immobile, and we have to carry her around to eat, drink, and go to the bathroom. She recently got a new set of wheels to help get her out for potty breaks and exercise, but she desperately needs surgery as soon as possible to recover well. Unfortunately, this has come at a terrible time for us as my dad just died, and I have lost a substantial amount of work and money to travel extensively to help my mother deal with all of the things associated with his death. As a result, we find ourselves in desperate need of money to cover her surgical expenses, so we are asking people to help us get Ocha the surgery she needs. We hope to get another credit card to help pay for this, but we find ourselves pretty tapped out financially due to all the other things going on. Anything you can donte will help, and we appreciate even the smallest donation. Any donations that exceed our expenses will be donated to Miranda's Rescue or Sequoia Humane Society, two Humboldt County non-profits that help animals in our area.
