Rebuilding our lives. Thank you all so much.

My name is Angie. Tonight is night 6 that we are in a hotel. This past Tuesday the house I moved into earlier this year, burned completely to the ground. Absolutely nothing was spared but the clothing on our backs. Life changed in that very instant. Even though I didn’t understand the weight of it just yet. I was at work and Heather was home. She barely made it out of the home to get Roger out of the apartment downstairs. I thank God they made it out. Life changes so quickly and without warning. Be thankful everyday.

This has been the hardest year of my life and asking for help is something I thought I would never do. But Lord knows…we need outlets and our community. We can not move forward without y’all. Funds will go to our food, clothing and shelter. We are just trying to survive.

We met up with the red-cross that very night. They gave us each $320 for clothing, food and shelter. Please call your local hotel because this weekend the rate was $250 per night and during the week $198. The relief money just doesn’t go as far as was attended. And we have extinguished all our funds. Thank you for helping us get back on our feet.

We desperately need a place to call our home. We need clothes, shampoo/conditioner ext…basic necessities that we take for granted every day. Literally starting from nothing. We have depleted all of our funds as well while searching for rentals. We would appreciate any help at all. Especially your time to help us get back to living. Thank you all. Your donation will help us get into housing faster as well as clothing and toiletry items that we take for granted daily. Once in the home, our focus will be on finding furniture.
