Hi, my name is Ellie and I am hoping to raise funds towards Goose's elbow surgery. At 18 weeks old Goose unfortunately fell off of the sofa and landed on her back/shoulder. Immediately after she landed we could tell she was in pain and she wouldn't put any weight on it and was just whining in pain. We took her to out of hours vet who prescribed her pain relief and advised we take her to our vets when they were open for an x-ray. At first based on the x-rays they were unsure if she had fractured it or if what they could see was where her growth plates. After a week of crate rest and no improvement, she has now been referred to a vet that specialises in Orthopaedics who believes she has fractured her elbow. Regrettably, we had not yet sorted out her pet insurance and have so far had to pay out of pocket for her care. However the care that she will need from now, as you could imagine, is much more expensive. We don't expect a lot from anyone but any donations would be so greatly appreciated. The vet offered the option of euthanasia if we are unable to afford the bills but there is no way we could go through with that as she is still our little baby who is yet to live her life. They also suggested that we make a gofundme page as thats what they have seen other pet owners do in the past which is why we are here.

Her surgery is scheduled for Friday (13th Feb) and her consult with the Orthopaedic surgeon, x-rays, surgery and follow up x-rays is estimated around 5k assuming all goes to plan.
