Hi. My name is Tina Scott, and I am starting a GoFundMe because we had flooding in our home due to our water heater breaking, while we were gone for 4 days taking care of a sick family member. It was so bad that it flooded 3 rooms and a hallway, and we were instructed to contact "Service Master" so that they could start the clean up, and they cut all of the walls and flooring out When we submitted it to the insurance company "Allstate", we were denied due to mold inside the walls that we were unaware of. Calling it previous damage, even though it was in the walls and unseen. So, we wrote the Illinois insurance commissioner, and again we were denied. We are at a loss. We are a family of 4, me, my husband (severe diabetic) , our disabled daughter, and our 10 month old granddaughter, and we have holes in our home, and the weather will be cold outside before you know it. We aren't looking for life changing money, just the ability to fix our home. We have exhausted every option we have, and now we are turning to you to possibly get some help.
