My name is Bea and I'm a fun-loving, hard-working, all-around nerd. I'm happily married with a perfect little fur family.

I've struggled with intestinal issues for over a decade. I've been in and out of the hospital while in agony more times than I can count.

Recently, I was diagnosed with something called "mobile cecum", which means that part of my intestine moves around. When it does, it's painful, and even worse, there's a chance of it becoming twisted, which is a life-threatening situation. Because of this risk, my surgeon and I have agreed that the safest option is to surgically remove that part of my intestine.

This is a major surgery, and my surgeon says that I'll need to be out of work for two weeks to recover.

My husband and I are already struggling and living paycheck to paycheck. Two weeks is a full check and not something our little family can afford to lose, so I'm here asking for help.

All I'm asking for is the money I'll miss from not working and a little extra to help with bills. Every penny earned will go to our bills, medical expenses, and anything extra will be donated to a local pet rescue.
