Please Help Us Support Our Mama/Lola During This Difficult Time

Right now, our family is facing one of the hardest moments we’ve ever experienced. Our Mama/Lola, Mila, is currently in the hospital in the Philippines and not doing well.

Up until recently, our Mama/Lola was strong, independent, and full of life. She lived on her own, took care of herself, and was always the one checking in on everyone else.

Everything changed suddenly when she developed severe pneumonia. She was rushed to the hospital and had to be intubated, remaining on a ventilator for 21 long days.

We are incredibly grateful that she has now been extubated, but her journey is far from over. Due to her prolonged hospital stay and the severity of her illness, she is still facing many serious medical challenges. Her body is weak from being sedated and on life support for so long. Therefore, she still requires ongoing medical care and close monitoring.

While we are staying strong for her, the emotional toll has been heavy, and so has the financial strain. Between hospital bills and ongoing medical care, the costs are quickly adding up. Our focus right now is on supporting her, being present, and making sure she’s as comfortable as possible.

We’re asking for help to ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her medical expenses and helping our family manage the unexpected costs that come with a medical crisis.

Our beloved Lola/Mama has sadly been readmitted to the hospital after developing a more severe case of pneumonia. We were so hopeful when she was discharged and seemed to be recovering, which makes this setback even more difficult for our family.
