Two weeks ago, Missy arrived in the UK after leaving behind a shelter in Morocco with over 400 cats. She finally has warmth, safety and love, but she is still very unwell.
Missy weighs only 2.9kg. You can feel every bone in her body. She has chronic infections, breathing problems, eye discharge, fur loss and ongoing digestive issues. Despite everything, she eats eagerly, purrs constantly and just wants to be held. She clearly wants to live and now, we need to give her the chance.
Our vet suspects severe malnutrition, various viral infections and long-term intestinal disease, but to treat her properly we must first run essential blood tests and diagnostics.
The estimate for her current veterinary care is £615…
We have already spent £1,200 bringing her safely to the UK and we are now short £400 to pay for the tests. Without these tests the vet can only guess. With them, we can start the correct treatment and finally stop her suffering.
We never planned to ask for help, but Missy deserves more than survival - she deserves recovery.
If you can donate even £5, you are directly helping us find out what is wrong and give this sweet, affectionate girl a real future.
If you can’t donate, sharing helps just as much ❤️
Thank you for caring about a cat who has never before had someone fight for her.
