Hello, my name is Amirah and on June the 1st 2026, it will mark 10 years since the murder of my brother, Aqib Mazhar. He was ambushed, attacked and stabbed on the same street that we lived on in Nottingham and died as a result of his stab wounds. His murderer has never been located. His loss has been tragic for me and my family. Everyday we feel his absence, he was an incredible light in our lives that will never be replaced. To honour his memory , I would like to build a water well in his name for the less fortunate in our country of Pakistan. I ask that you donate to this fundraiser even if it is only £1 so we may hit our goal.

He may be a victim to strangers but to us, he was a brother, a son, an uncle, a best-friend.

I will be ending this fundraiser by the end of june the 1st.
