While on holiday in Mauritius Natalie and her family felt an instant connection with a street dog. Her daughters have decided to call him Ronnie.
Ronnie is blind which makes living on the streets even harder.
Natalie and her family would love to raise enough money to bring Ronnie back to the UK and give him the good life he deserves.

This bit below is the part i was NOT allowed to put on my post in the Mauritius group….
Alongside this, We had chatted and arranged a boat trip with one of the boat guys on the beach at the hotel about ronnie.
On the morning of Sunday 16 July we were due out on the boat and Linda Ambor was due to collect the dog from the hotel at 7am. Unusually, He was nowhere to be seen, we were told by a couple of members of staff and the boat guy ‘that he had gone back to the village’. We found this odd as he was blind and would struggle to make his way there.
Cut a long story short, the boat guy and others had taken Ronnie and then for the next few days followed us whenever we were on public ground and tried to extort money from us for his safe return (all on video thankfully). Luckily we know a fair few locals and described one of them and he knew that these guys were working together. We reported these guys to security (and the police etc) and after threatening to go to the coast guard and get his boat license removed amazingly, an hour later ronnie was returned to us (3 days after he was taken) and immediately collected by Linda. He is now with Lorena and getting prepped to come to his forever home in the Uk.
