Hi
Unfortunately - as much as we hate to do this & we have fought with the decision if to do so or not over the last 48 hours, we are now having to increase the target to cover Egyptian Lawyer fees we will now occur. (Kirsty never did things by halves) xxx❤️❤️ please continue to share so we can try to reach as many people as possible. We hate to keep asking & you’ll never know how much we appreciate your help xxxx thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️❤️❤️
Not something we really want to do - but as many of you now know, our Kirsty sadly passed away in Egypt this weekend.
Whilst living her best life & posting each beach day or lovely meal out on fb - (making us all envious) we can’t seem to find any updated insurance policy to include getting her home should the worst happen.
We never expected it to be a reality we would be facing.
It is not a funeral service we are funding for - but trying to cover the costs to get her home & now retrieving her personal belongings as the Egyptian Law will not simply allow us access to them, we have to appoint a lawyer to request them in court.
Kirsty would have been the first to help where she could.
We’ve been advised it may cost between £5,000 to £20,000 to bring her home.
Graham & I along with one of Kirsty’s best friends are hoping to fly out tomorrow to get some kind of clarification to the whole situation through the authorities as to what we do.
Kirsty should arrive in the UK by Wednesday.
Since setting up this page, we have hit numerous legal challenges & the legal fees keep rising.
Please can we ask you all to continue sharing for us so we can try to cover everything that arises and finally get everything resolved with the Egyptian government/ legal side of things.
We have been blown away by people’s generosity & we can’t thank you all enough ❤️
We are extremely grateful to anyone who is able to help us by donating & sharing.
Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts.
