I write this with an extremely heavy heart. Our brother Luke Frost is no longer with us. To understand that fact, to take a step back and realise that I can't talk to Luke anymore pains me to no end. The kid that I met in primary school and have known for 3 quarters of my life is no longer there. The friend that I spent countless hours listening to, talking to, sitting with, walking with is now a true memory. I'll never get to make anymore memories with him. And I know that with time, it will get easier, but right now it hurts. It hurts like someone stood on my face in a mosh pit we were in together, it hurts like bailing off a skateboard when we were riding down that hill, it hurts like falling down, it hurts like getting back up, it hurts because you're gone and it hurts because I write this from the perspective of so many people's lives that you touched. And now we all have to live in this world without you. It's not fair and I would have pulled down the sky to have taken away your pain and keep you with us.
I love you Luke. We all love you. We will see each other again. Until then, our community will have a hole in it that can never be filled. I'll end this with some words that give me some comfort because they immediately remind me of you. From our favourite, Bill Hicks:
"All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves."
Luke is currently in Goa and this page has been set up to help the family cover the cost of his repatriation to the UK. This process involves a lot of time and effort from the family and unfortunately a very heavy financial cost. The family have been quoted £4500 which we're aiming to cover in full for them and anything raised on top of this amount will go towards Luke's funeral costs here in the UK.
All funds raised will be given to the family to help them through this difficult time. We want to be able to help them bring Luke home as soon a possible so we can all begin to heal from this tragedy.
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for anything that you can spare to bring our brother home.
All my love,
Finch.
