Please help us bring Darryl home

It is with the heaviest hearts we share that our beloved mother and grandmother, Darryl Lynn Taylor, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2024. Her passing has come as a shock to our family.
She had recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and had just begun chemo treatments, but was doing her best to enjoy every moment while battling the disease. Her spirits were high and she was feeling well as she prepared to celebrate her 75th birthday on a cruise with her family. She had been looking forward to the trip since last year.
Early last week, however, Darryl began to feel ill while aboard the ship. She visited the medical bay after a falling due to a constant stomach pain that caused lack of appetite and delirium. The onboard doctors determined that she was experiencing renal failure. She was immediately air transported off the ship and flown to HCA Aventura Hospital in Miami, Florida. There, they discovered she had also suffered a stroke. While at the hospital, she suffered a heart attack, septic shock, and multiple organ failure. After a short struggle, she passed peacefully at 8:12PM, with her daughter, granddaughter, and grandson at her side.
The costs of her emergency medical treatment (the cruise medical bay and air evacuation) and shipping her remains home is immense. Any help you could give would mean the world to our family.
Please help us bring “Big Red” home to rest.
With love and gratitude,
The Ali Family
