Hi, to whoever is reading this my name is jake and my girlfriends name is Cora the reason for us starting a go fund me is our newborn son Atreus is in need of help, and we are in need of help we’re first time parents and nothing prepared us for our son only being a day old having to be intubated and lifeflighted from banner medical center of Casper wyoming to the children’s hospital of Colorado in Denver currently we’re playing the waiting game with results and treatment for our son, all we know so far is that he needs help breathing from a ventilator due to a possible hole in the diaphragm muscle or the one side of the lung itself could be paralyzed due to stress of birth and a coarctation of the heart which means one of his main valves of the heart (aorta) come to a narrowing meaning his heart has to work a little harder to pump blood, so with all these medical problems he’s dealing with we just want to focus on our son and be here for our boy, but the reality of the situation is with both of us currently being out of work and far from home with no income for us or baby it’s another stresser that we are really struggling with on top of all of the medical bills that are soon to come, we’re truly fear that once he’s all better and ready to go home we won’t have the means to shoulder everything especially with both of us out of work currently that there isn’t going to be a house to go home to, so we’re just asking for some help and support for our son this was our last resort and we’re trying everything to make sure our son gets the care and treatment he needs and that he’s taken care of inside and outside of the hospital and the last thing we want to be stressing on is money problems while trying to take care of our boy but sadly that’s the reality of life, so we are asking for some financial help and guidance not for the sake of us but for our baby boy.
