Hi! I'm Jude, I'm 24 years old. This is Parker, and as of this month he's 7 years old! I brought him home as a gift for my eighteenth birthday back in 2018, when he was just a couple months old. Parker is incredibly friendly and loving, a little guy that demands attention and cuddles at every opportunity. Recently, he's been getting sick. It's been pretty bad. We'd tried supervised feeding, changing his food, and nothing would work. He's been lethargic and showing clear signs of being in pain. Tonight (9/28/25) we took him to the vet because he refused his dinner-- something he's never done before. After a couple hours of tests and xrays, they found a foreign object in his stomach as well as some distension. Neither we nor the vets can tell what exactly it is, but we have been informed that he will more than likely need surgery to have it removed. We've been quoted somewhere between $3k-$5k. Please. I know it's cliche for people to say but he's my baby. I'm not ready to lose him. My partner and I are both college students and can't afford to do this on our own. I'm sorry. I know it's a lot and I am so sorry. But please, I can't lose my boy. Anything helps at all.
