Please help Un E Minh with her medical costs

Un E minh a 26 year old lady was the victim of a hit and run accident in Phnom Penh Cambodia in the early

hours of April 13th while returning from work at a local restaurant. The driver dragged her and her

scooter under his vehicle for up to 80 meters causing her to suffer multiple skull fractures and partial

paralysis to the right side of her face as well as bleeding inside her skull and a number of cuts and

abrasions . He then fled the scene the accident.

He did not any serve prison time and paid a paltry $3000 dollars for her life altering injuries, nor was

he obliged to pay her hospital bills. Instead he made a deal with someone Minh trusted who

took this money, before selling her scooter and fleeing the country

The police here in charge of her case do not want to get further involved and will not answer the

phone or any messages. Un E Minh needs a constant course of medication that is highly expensive as

well monthly hospital visits to have skull ex-rays and check-ups on her injuries to keep her alive. She

will also need physiotherapy and massage to prevent permanent paralysis to her face. And is

suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress.

The costs of her medication and treatments (in three different hospitals to date) have already been

huge and the monthly cost of her medication and care is unsustainable for her family in what is a

developing country where the average wage is roughly $200 a month. Her life remains precariously

in the balance and she needs your help to recover. Any money you care to donate will go directly to

her care and rehabilitation, medication, hospital visits and the tending to her dressing and wounds

as well as physiotherapy for her facial paralysis and help for the psychological damage. Please help

this young woman return to living a normal life and do not let the cruelty by those she should have

been able to trust destroy her. Every Euro or Dollar counts and can help save her life, thank you.
