Please help Tracy in her battle against cancer!

Well, where to start? Our Mom has been diagnosed with cancer.

Let me tell you a bit about her - she is a Wife, a Mother of 3, and on January 16th, she became a Grandma for the first time! She is also a Holistic Practitioner, Massage Therapist & Reiki Master, and one of the most selfless human beings you could ever know. She always talks about her family and clients; they are the center of her world. She goes above and beyond to help anyone in need without hesitation or question. Bending over backward to ensure everyone around her receives the care required. Now she needs the help of her community to overcome this cancer and continue her stewardship.

You have probably realized by now that she is all about a natural healing lifestyle, from eating a clean natural diet to exercising, yoga, and everything in between. She is truly the last person we ever thought would develop any illness, let alone cancer. When she came to us with this news right before Christmas, it shattered our hearts. We immediately started to research information and available possibilities to give our Mom the absolute best opportunity to beat this! With limited natural options in Edmonton, Alberta, we were forced to look elsewhere for alternative methods, trying to find our miracle!

The tumor developed in September 2021, followed by an MRI in November and then the dreadful news was confirmed by endoscopy on December 9th. A 5cm growth was confirmed and diagnosed as squamous rectal cancer. Since then, the tumor has continued to grow rapidly at an alarming pace, making daily activities very difficult and quickly decreasing her quality of life. The surgery options given to her were said to be radically dangerous with horrendous side effects, which would alter her life as she knows it and would make it impossible for her to return to the career she is so passionate about. The Medical options here in Canada are radiation and chemo; they come with a long list of side effects given the tumor's location. These side effects would disable her ability to continue to help others that she cares so deeply for, along with not allowing her to do all the daily activities that she loves.

We are looking at cancer Clinics in Mexico that offer alternative methods to fighting and successfully beating cancer. We spoke with one particular Clinic, and they gave us the best news we have heard since first finding out about her diagnosis. They have a 75% success rate with their treatments for her particular cancer! Now for the downside, these treatments come with significant and ongoing expenses that are beyond our reach.

Here is where we graciously ask for your help. Right now, we have put together estimates, and we are looking at costs upward to $50,000.00. We are trying to make this as easy as possible for our Mom and our Step-Dad, Dennis, to help cover her medical expenses, treatment plans, out of Country stay, travel and ongoing expenses.
